me, wearing a light brown turtleneck, slowly sipping a latte in a small bakery. i hear laughing and murmuring and quiet jazz music playing in the background. the sun is beginning to set, creating soft, golden light, making everything seem warm and beautiful. the door opens as somebody walks in, bringing a breeze of chilly autumn air with them. i breathe in deeply, closing my eyes in satisfaction, put down the latte and take a small bite off an apricot croissant. i watch people, and i write what i see and what i imagine, and smile at everyone who walks out. i feel peaceful, satisfied and in love
